Adding end screens is an ad which can add 5-20 seconds to a video. You can add and use them to promote other videos, encourage viewers to subscribe and much more. You can add up to four elements to your end screen for videos with a standard 16:9 aspect ratio. Other ratios may have a lower limit. Notes to take when adding end screens are simple. Your video has to be at least 25 seconds long to have an end screen. Other interactive elements like card teasers and video watermarks are suppressed during the end screen, also the End screens, like many different features, are not available on videos made for kids, the YouTube music app, flash videos and mobile web or 360 videos.

To add an end screen, you must go into your YouTube studio and sign in. From the left menu, select content and click on the title or the thumbnail of the video you'd like to edit. From the left menu, select editor. Select the end screen and choose the element you want to add.
